Aerodyne Solo

SOLO When it’s time for your student to fly SOLO… this is the parachute.

It’s all about confidence and reliability. Whether you’re a dropzone owner or a first-time student, the last thing you should worry about is your gear. The Solo student canopy gives you that peace of mind. Strong where it needs to be, forgiving when it counts, the Solo offers all the features necessary for a successful student training experience.

The Solo is durable, with extra reinforcement and easy packing. Its opening, flight, and landing characteristics are specifically tailored to teach your students the right flying skills. As the student gains experience and is ready to downsize, the Solo’s design ensures a natural progression to our Pilot canopies. This allows beginner canopy pilots to transition effortlessly from student gear to their own setup without having to relearn the canopy’s characteristics. This makes the transition much safer and more enjoyable while promoting continuous learning.

We’ve even added visual aids to simplify PRO pack training. By incorporating color-coded line attachments, students can learn proper packing techniques in less time and with greater confidence.

Available sizes: 190, 210, 230, 250, 270, and 290 square feet.
